Turkey bowl '12 and trophy returns to the bad guys: Scott, Blake, Stroebel, Disandro, Warren, Weil. Scott earned MVP mostly exposing a questionable zone safety deep coverage. The good guys Dorfman, Smades, Milnes, Burkey, Hoxie, Cottone led most of the first half. But they fell short in the first overtime after a heartbreaking Dorfman to Drew drop in the endzone was followed by an Allen to Weil touchdown in a one and done format. It spoiled an NBA finals Jordan-esque performance by Dorfman who played thru serious illness, shutting Blake down to just 1 catch (Blake did have a near onside kick recovery to end the game ruled out of bounds).
It was the first ever game with a dedicated ref that was sorely needed. And Skip managed to keep the spots honest, and call a tight game with no real controversy.
